In winter (snow conditions permitting), there is the possibility of skiing directly from the slopes to your front door and only a short walk or ski to the main cable car (Gondola) in order to gain access to the St. Johann ski area.

You can also enjoy a wide range of nearby ski resorts such as Steinplatte-Waidring and Kitzbühel, well known for the famous downhill run, "the Streif".

Fieberbrunn is approx. a 20 minute drive away and is the entry into the Ski Circus to the ski areas of Leogang and Saalbach-Hinterglemm all included on the Salzburg Super Ski Card - see www.superskicard.com for full details.

In summer, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with the feeling of seclusion and of being close to nature.

St. Johann is ideally centrally located with easy access by car or by train (station located in town) to many nearby excursion destinations and attractions (such as Innsbruck and Salzburg).
